This program uses the teachings of the Bible to improve relationships. It helps identify the communication and behavior beliefs that are passed down through the generations in families. By listening to the lesson and then completing the workbook pages, participants gain insight into how past relationship dynamics are influencing their family relationships today. This knowledge equips us to make choices that improve current relationship connections.
Thanks for stepping into the process of healing.

Welcome to Families Matter Workshop!
Family Goals and Parenting Styles
We ease into our journey by looking at our family of origin and the relationship between our upbringing and our family life today.
Communication
This module will explore how the “Don’t Talk Rule” is used to hide abuse. We will look at common dysfunctional communication patterns and how family roles are in play in dysfunctional communication.
Family Dynamics Workshop
Close Connection Criteria
This module will explain why it is difficult to discern who we should be in close relationship with. We will objectively decide if we ourselves model healthy dynamics. We will evaluate if limits of intimacy are needed within our family circle.
Codependency vs. Inderdependency
This module will explain the heart needs that drive codependency. We will learn tools to empower ourselves and family members toward independence and self-reliance.
Leaving Shame
Shame, its formation, and how it controls us will be explored. We will come to understand what “Victim Training” is and how it causes us to live powerless lives.
Authenticity and Vulnerability
The awakening and healing process that brings about authenticity will be taught. We will talk about how we glorify God best when we allow our real selves to be seen.
